Crossing point, as in the hight of the props where they pass the center axis of your body!
I've been trained to juggle with a low crossing point. In 5 balls it used to be around 1/3 of the total hight, but I was encouraged to go even lower by my trainer in the circusschool.
Arguments were vague, but since I asked often I got to hear: Looks better, Russian/Ukrainian style, less chance of collision.....
I've always noticed that most peoples patterns crossed much higher, and it seems also like the higher the amount of props the higher the crossing point would go.
What is your aim crossing point, your actual crossing point, or what do you believe are the pros and cons of the different options?
