Starting at imaginary point that any object can feel pain, I welcome you here to enter discussion about objects and violence. Feel free to tell about your ways of treating props, objects when you juggle.
Juggling is fundamentally connected with force. You use force when you need an object to gain speed or to stop. So to make any influence to an object you need force, in most of situations. There's question: are there any possibilities to juggle without force?
In the first years of practice juggler do drop objects many times. And at some point props become out of order and then there are ways of repairing or buying new one. Or think about violence to an object.
First of all, juggler does violence to self. Then making objects fly (also doing it again) and not taking responsibility of that fact is kinda violence to an object.
So, what do you think about gently and careful way of juggling? Taking care of yourself, your partners and props.
Is realising that you take all responsibility of your actions the part of juggling? To force or not to force?
